Welcome to Can of Code (apologies for the name). This blog I hope to regularly update with handy stuff that I come across during my days as a Software Developer.

I’ve always wanted to start a blog on the subject but never had the get up and go to start writing, so here I am!

I had regained the enthusiasm after starting to read the amazing book Joel On Software (and on Diverse and Occasionally Related Matters That Will Prove Of Interest To Software Developers, Designers and Managers, and to those who, Whether by Good Fortune or Ill Luck, Work with them in Some Capacity). This book I have only just started reading but it has amazed me how relevant it to my job. In the book when talking about the Joel Test he suggests that a  programmer should be encouraged to write more so they become less reluctant to write functional Specs. That was also a reason why I thought starting a blog of my own wouldn’t be a bad idea.
